Bayenghem lès Eperlecques
From the ruins of the feudal mound at Monnecove, you can see the three perches used for archery, a favourite leisure activity for the villagers since the 18th century.
The "Tir du Roi" takes place at Easter: forty archers will take great pleasure in introducing this sport to you. You can gain access to the cemetery by going through a triumphal arch built in 1763, and to the church through a double porch built in 1753.
The main altar dates from the first half of the 18th century, and the stained-glass windows from the 1950s. |
