Nielles-lès-Ardres

Nielles les Ardres is well known for its listed historic organs, dating from the 17th century, in a particularly well-furnished church with a Roman nave.

If you love Music, come here in October every year for the “Contrepoints 62" festival, which includes high-class concerts. The organ loft, built by Jean Piette in 1691, and the instrument built in 1696 by Guillaume Van Belle, are worth a visit. The privately-owned chateau belonging to the Rosny family is greatly admired. Several little country roads bring you to the Bois de la Montoire..and this woodland is well worth discovering.

Many working farms make this a charming village, very near to Ardres.
